Made in the 1960s by Baumritter (later Ethan Allen), this is the most famous and collectible design from this American furniture company. This matching set has been re-webbed with new Pirelli webbing and features brand new cushions with high-density foam and Maharam's gorgeous Divina Melange by Kvadrat light grey wool felt, which contrasts beautifully with the wood frames.
The lightweight stained beech frames were stripped unprofessionally by the previous owner before being re-stained, so the finish is not perfect. The frames are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate nicks and scratches. (Throw pillow not included.)

A sweet camel leather and rosewood settee or 2-seat sofa designed by Hans Olsen. Danish sofas are smaller than American ones, and this piece is particularly well proportioned. Feather and down-filled cushions.
Hans Olsen's leather pieces normally sell for >$3,000. This piece's high-quality leather is more worn than usual, with some stains, a small rip in the front edge of the sofa deck and on the back, and a slight musty smell, so we've priced it much, much lower.

While many furnituremakers in Denmark made their own versions of Borge Mogensen-designed sofas, Stouby is considered second only to Fredericia, who produced the actual designs. This piece is Stouby's version of Børge Mogensen's No. 2213, which he designed originally for use in his own home.
Danish sofas are lower and smaller scale than typical American sofas... really nicely proportioned. This piece is priced much lower than most Stouby sofas because the leather is more worn than usual, especially on the sets and arm rests. Please see the photos. It is nevertheless a very handsome sofa, and SO comfortable!

Fresh from Denmark! This is a wonderful pair of rosewood and button-tufted leather club chairs c. 1960s. Low and very handsome; these chairs are a smaller scale than typical American versions. They are very comfortable!
This set is in excellent vintage condition with minor, age-appropriate wear/scuffs. One chair has two small holes in the seat deck padding (beneath the cushion.) There is a tiny almost-tear on the back of one arm rest where it meets the back cushion, and minor dents to the leather on side.

This is an early version of Grete Jalk's iconic teak-framed lounge chair, made by France & Daverkosen Møbelfabrik in the 1950s before the company became France & Son. it is so very handsome, with it's elegant paddle-shaped arms and canted back legs. Fully signed.
This chair is in very good vintage condition. The frame is sturdy and has a beautiful patina. There is one light scratch on the arm and three chips to the front edge (under the cushion.) The original innerspring seat cushion and a new, elegantly tapered back cushion have been re-upholstered in Maharam's gorgeous Divina Melange by Kvadrat 100% wool felt.

This is a wonderfully comfortable chair! It is also seriously stylish, with its flared back, wide teak arms, and matching ottoman. Designed by Arnt Lande for Stokke and sold by Westnofa. Made in Norway in the late 1950s. Reclining chair adjusts to several stationary positions, or a free rocking position. Ottoman/footstool can be raised on one side for a comfortable leg angle.
This chair is in very good vintage condition. The seat has been revamped with new high-density foam. The original upholstery was covered for many years so it is in great shape, with just a light whitish water mark on the seat (may be removable.)

We love the sculptural arm rests and back design: this beauty looks great from ALL angles! The brand new cushions are upholstered in Camira's Blazer Wool. (Blazer is a classic pure new wool upholstery fabric with a billiard cloth felted finish. The fabric is made from premium New Zealand lambswool and benefits from complete integrity right from individual sheep farms to the finished fabric.) Fully marked with Selig badge.

A rare sculptural loveseat designed by Grete Jalk For France & Son, circa 1960s. The solid teak frame is beautifully sculpted. This piece has great lines and is very comfortable! Fully marked with the France & Son disc and serial number, as well as the mark from Povl Dinesen, the high-end importer to the US.
This piece is in very good vintage condition. The original cream and grey wool and innerspring cushions are in great shape and do not need to be redone. There are only a few very small, light stains. We did not attempt cleaning, so they may come right out; in any case they are not very noticeable due to the heathered colors in the upholstery. The sofa deck and original springs are also in very good condition. (Sheepskin not included.)
