Handsome Italian Mid-Century Lounge Chair in Blue Hallingdal - SOLD

This is such a cool design! It is an Italian manufacturer's take on a classic Danish Arne Vodder chair, circa 1960s. We love the sculptural, flowing lines of the walnut-stained beechwood frame. This chair has been restored with gorgeous new cushions in Maharam Kvadrat Hallingdal wool/rayon (in an original colorway) - designed in 1965 by famous Danish designer Nanna Ditzel.  More on this iconic textile here.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with very minor wear to the frame.

Norwegian Mid-Century Lounge Chair - SOLD

A classic walnut-stained beech lounge chair, made in Norway circa 1960s. This chair has been re-webbed. The cushions originally came from a high-quality lounge chair made in Denmark. They have the very comfortable innerspring cushions recovered in glorious Maharam Kvadrat Hallingdal wool/rayon (in an original colorway) designed in 1965 by famous Danish designer Nanna Ditzel.  More on this iconic textile here.

Glass & Polished Chrome End Table - SOLD

In the tradition of Eileen Gray and the Pace Collection, this little glass and polished chrome end table has lots of minimalist style. Great where you don't want a wooden table than might be damaged by moisture from drinks!

Excellent vintage condition. The chrome is thick and shiny with very little wear. The glass top has a few very light scratches and two tiny fleabite chips on the outer edges (within the chrome frame): see photos.

Teak and Wool Settee by Grete Jalk for France & Son, Denmark - SOLD

A rare sculptural loveseat designed by Grete Jalk For France & Son, circa 1960s. The solid teak frame is beautifully sculpted. This piece has great lines and is very comfortable! Fully marked with the France & Son disc and serial number, as well as the mark from Povl Dinesen, the high-end importer to the US.

This piece is in very good vintage condition. The original cream and grey wool and innerspring cushions are in great shape and do not need to be redone. There are only a few very small, light stains. We did not attempt cleaning, so they may come right out; in any case they are not very noticeable due to the heathered colors in the upholstery. The sofa deck and original springs are also in very good condition. (Sheepskin not included.)
