Described as some of the most comfortable dining chairs ever made, these solid walnut Model 49 chairs by Erik Buch (Buck) for O.D. Møbler (Oddense Maskinsnedkeri) are becoming one of the most desirable designs for collectors of mid-century Danish furniture. Designed in 1949. They feature Buch's wonderful "floating" seat and great attention to detail. And did we mention how comfortable they are???
This set includes one arm chair and seven side chairs.
The beautifully striated walnut frames are in very good vintage condition. There are a few minor cracks, dents, and finish flaws as pictured. The original upholstery is in good condition with light soiling in a few places. These can be reupholstered for an additional charge if desired, please inquire.
