What a great find! These gorgeous teak dining chairs are quite a bit wider and more substantial than typical Danish dining chairs. They feature beautifully molded backs and are quite comfortable. The arms are flared and sculpted, and the chairs sit on gently tapered legs with elegant low side runners. This is a very special set. (We do have a matching dining table and buffet cabinets that will be offered this spring.)
By Danish master Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig, 1950s.
This set is in excellent vintage condition. The original naugahyde upholstery is in great shape (the seats can be reupholstered for an additional cost, please inquire.) The teak frames have a few minor signs of age. One armchair has a repair to the backrest as shown. The other armchair has a repaired crack on the armrest and small flaw on leg.
