These large, beautifully-made Danish teak bookcases are fantastic in person. There is just something about them -the scale, the shape, the details- that makes them stand out. Equally stunning separately or as a pair. Designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co., Denmark . Hundevad furniture is very well made and high quality. These bookcases feature Hundevad's unique beveled-front shelves and a wonderful "invisible" shelf support system (the shelves each have grooves on the side that slide over -and hide!- adjustable wire supports).

These bookcases are in excellent vintage condition. Some small flaws are noted below.
Bookcase #1
8 adjustable shelves. The top has some very faint small scratches. Left side has some very light marks. One shelf has a chip on front edge. A very small hole has been drilled in the back panel (probably for speaker wires). The right side has some light marks on the edge. Interiors show slight color variations from shelving covering the teak: exposure to light will even these out.
Bookcase #2
7 adjustable shelves. Very small holes (probably for speaker wires) have been drilled in the side, back, and center vertical. There is a chip on the back left bottom corner.Interiors show slight color variations from shelving covering the teak: exposure to light will even these out.
