We are so pleased to present a pair of drop-dead gorgeous and highly sought-after ‘Paperknife’ lounge chairs designed in the 1950s by Kai Kristiansen for Magnus Olesen, Denmark. Model No. 121 in solid teak with brass fittings. Named for the knife-like slender curved and carved arm rests. These chairs are just stunning in person, elegant and sophisticated. They are very comfortable, with a rather petite footprint.
We also have a matching 4-seat sofa.
This pair has been professionally restored. The original Experspring loop coil supports are in very good condition. Reupholstered with new high-density foam and gorgeous, soft, nubbly HBF Textiles 'Afghan' boucle fabric in a silver-grey colorway. The sold teak frames are in truly excellent condition. One chair has a tiny chip on the corner of the front seat support, one chair has a small nick and repaired minor split on the back. Please see photos.
