It is in excellent vintage condition with only a few minor scratches, small dings and minor chips. A couple of the drawers have some staining inside.

This is a wonderfully designed, very high quality mid-century dresser from the 'Contempora' collection by Mt. Airy Furniture in North Carolina. This piece -part of a bedroom set from which we have several pieces- was retailed by John Stuart, a high-end furniture importer who specialized in Danish and American designer pieces. This set is often attributed to the great Danish designer, Finn Juhl, but we believe it was simply influenced by his designs.
This is a LARGE dresser with ton of storage! In bleached walnut with a wonderful external-leg design and fabulous solid brass pulls (please note: the pulls are currently being polished. In these photos they are tarnished.) These pieces are very heavy, as they are made primarily of walnut. There is a lot of solid walnut, and, according to the original tag, even the plywood beneath the veneered areas is made primarily of walnut!
In very good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. There is some finish wear around the handles and edges of the top, the sides, and some light abrasions on the legs. Please see photos. The top of this dresser was covered with a sheet of custom-fit glass, (not included) which protected the top.

This mid-century Danish chest has gorgeous book-matched grain and a beautiful patina - not to mention tons of style and lots of storage!
This piece has some really nice details like the sculpted drawer pulls and beveled edges on the top and bottom of the case. It is signed "Ejsing Møbelfabrik". The dovetailed drawers all slide well with no binding.

This is a gorgeous pair of walnut bedside tables of side tables designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders (an early subsidiary of Knoll.) They are finished on all sides, so can be used anywhere in the room. They are very handsome and have tons of storage. Look at that beautiful walnut grain!

This handsome highboy dresser has some serious presence! Designed by Børge Mogensen and crafted by the cabinetmakers at Søborg Møbler in Denmark. This is a really large piece: please see the photo with the chair for scale. The four shallow and three deep dovetailed birch drawers feature Mogensen's signature carved pulls. It was brought over from Denmark last year, and was clearly well-cared for all it's life: it is in really excellent vintage condition.

A rare and extremely handsome leggy chest designed by Torbjørn Afdal in the 1960s. Torbjørn Afdal's designs are sought after and hard to find. His pieces can be found in the collections of White House and the Japanese Emperor.
This chest has wonderful proportions and a real presence in a room. This piece just came over from Scandinavia and we're very pleased to offer it.
The chest is in excellent vintage condition with a few small chips, mainly along the back side edges; a small chip along the front edge; a few dings on the legs and chips on the back side bottom corner as pictured. We have left the patina on the brass pulls, but they could certainly be polished bright if desired.
