Kent Coffey 'Perspecta' Highboy Chest in Walnut - SOLD

February 18, 2017

Kent Coffey's 'Perspecta' line is sculptural and modern in beautifully figured walnut with contrasting rosewood handles. I love the elegant and practical "lip" along the back edge!

This highboy dresser features a deep divided drawer on top and three drawers below. It is in excellent vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear: a few light dings around the edges; small chip on bottom left corner; scratch on left side. Top is in excellent condition with a few light scratches.

We also have the matching low dresser.

Gorgeous 8-Drawer Teak Chest by Hundevad & Co. - SOLD

December 7, 2016

A beautiful double dresser designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co., Denmark (No. 40/16). Hundevad furniture is very well made and high quality. This piece would work equally well in a bedroom, entryway, dining room, living room or office! It's really a beauty, with sculpted inset pulls and glowing teak.

It's in truly excellent vintage condition, with only the most minor signs of wear such as very light/small scratches and dings. The top has a section of slightly lighter teak where a hutch once stood, but it is barely visible and will even out with exposure to sunlight. The drawers all slide very well.

Gorgeous Danish Teak Highboy Dresser - SOLD

November 4, 2016

This is a very well-made mid-century Danish dresser with unusual and wonderful details. The top is framed by raised sides and an elegantly curved back. The beautifully book-matched teak case is supported by a handsome contrasting Afrormosia wood base, and the six drawers - of dovetail construction with mahogany sides and drawer bottoms- feature carved, full-width handles.

This dresser is in very good vintage condition. I would say excellent with the exception of three older, filled chips on the front (see photos), a few very light scratches on the top, and two scratches on the right side. All drawers slide very well. Signed with foil label "S. Thrane and Son Møbler, Oddense. Made in Denmark"
