This is a very finely crafted Danish teak dining table. It is smaller than most -perfect for small spaces- but includes two leaves to enlarge it for a party. High-quality construction: notice the joinery detail for the corner braces and impressed model number. Wonderful details: rounded, beveled edges, elegantly curved apron, a beautiful patina on the teak. Both of the leaves are fully skirted, so when installed there is no break in the design, unlike many tables with leaves.
We believe this table was executed by Søborg Møbelfabrik (construction details are identical to tables by Peter Hvidt and Børge Mogensen that we have sold in the past) but it is unmarked. It is in very good vintage condition, with age appropriate wear including minor scratches and bruises. The edges of the table where they join together have small chips. One leaf has a larger area of edge chipping and one has a chipped corner. One leg has a chip at the very top, not visible in normal use. See photos.
