Described as some of the most comfortable dining chairs ever made, these solid teak chairs by Erik Buch (Buck) for O.D. Møbler (Oddense Maskinsnedkeri) are becoming one of the most desirable designs for collectors of mid-century Danish furniture. Designed in 1949. They feature Buch's wonderful "floating" seat and great attention to detail. And did we mention how comfortable they are???
This set includes two arm chairs and four side chairs.
These beauties have been professionally re-upholstered with new foam and a gorgeous nubby wool bouclé: Outback Wool by Maharam Kvadrat. Outback is a luxurious and tactile bouclé upholstery fabric designed by Giulio Ridolfo. The textile features numerous tones in each colorway, which creates subtle color combinations that play across its textured surface. The variation also makes this upholstery quite forgiving for a family with small kids! The fabric is made from a soft and hardwearing blend of wool. Mélange bouclé yarns are used in both warp and weft, which gives the textile body and warmth, while making it very comfortable.
