Gorgeously subtle tribal rug in midnight blue and dark aubergine-brown, circa 1940s. Baluch rugs are woven by the nomadic Baluchi ethnic groups of Western Afghanistan and Eastern Iran. This beauty has a wonderful geometric pattern that becomes more visible in certain light.
This beauty is in excellent vintage condition with light edge wear. The white spots are the warp/weft knots.
