Very high quality vintage Danish teak credenza and desk unit designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co., with his signature elongated pulls. Made in Denmark in the 1960s. This 2-piece set features a top section with 4 adjustable shelves with a lovely beveled edge detail. The shelves are discreetly drilled to accept wire LP record dividers if desired. Below the shelving is a beautiful drop-down desk (with original key.) Inside, left, are four full-depth adjustable shelves and a removable drawer. To the right are 2 partial-depth adjustable shelves.
The credenza two sliding doors revealing birch-lined cabinets. On the left are a felt-lined shallow drawer and adjustable shelf. On the right is an adjustable shelf with holes for wire LP record dividers. The previous owner added a drilled hole in the back to allow cords to pass though.

They were well-taken care of in their previous one-owner home and are in very good original condition with lovely patina and a few signs of wear. See photos. All in all this presents very well and is a beautiful, highly functional piece of mid-century design! marked with the Danish Furnituremakers Control button, the Hundevad stamp, and paper labels.
