Finn Juhl Spade Chairs in Teak & Leather - SOLD

This is the real deal. The iconic Spade lounge chair designed by Danish design pioneer, Finn Juhl, for France & Søn circa 1950’s. These stunning chairs, Model 133, have refined teak wood frames and brass hardware details. They maintain the original vinyl-covered helical springs on the back and feature new high density foam cushions upholstered buttery-soft cream-colored top grain leather. The organic curve fits the human body, making it quite comfortable.

Our set is in excellent vintage condition with a few very minor flaws as shown. The seats have had a few springs replaced with a slightly darker color. Seat cushions have been meticulously made in the same tapered shape as the originals, which adds to the understated elegance of this design.

Folke Ohlsson Teak and Wool Scissor Chair - SOLD

Gorgeous and iconic ‘Scissor’ chair by Folke Ohlsson for Dux, made in Sweden circa 1960's. This classic design features clean and simple lines with subtle angles that look great from any angle. It’s also very comfortable!

Scissor chairs were most commonly produced in a stained beech, but this beauty is executed in glowing solid teak with a beautiful grain. professionally restored with new Pirelli rubber webbing, high-density foam cushions and a gorgeous nubby wool boucle: Outback Wool by Maharam Kvadrat. Outback is a luxurious and comfortable bouclé upholstery fabric, designed by Giulio Ridolfo. The textile features numerous tones in each colorway, which creates subtle color combinations that play across its richly textured surface. The fabric is made from a soft and hardwearing blend of wool. Mélange bouclé yarns are used in both warp and weft, which gives the textile body and warmth, while making it very comfortable.

This chair is in very good vintage condition with a few minor scratches and dings as shown.

Turquoise Westnofa Leather 'Siesta' Lounge & Ottoman - SOLD

Oh my goodness, this cheery chair is soooooo comfortable! Designed in 1965 by Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling, this classic has been in production ever since. (In fact, you can still buy a new one for $2, 500!) Hardwood frames with laced canvas support slings offer just enough give to create an incredibly comfortable chair.

This set is in good vintage condition with signs of age. The leather has noticeable wear on the seat and arm rests and a few tiny white paint splatters, but no rips or tears. It’s not perfect, but still so comfy! Price reflects condition of leather.

Reupholstered 'Ib Kofod-Larsen' Selig Møbelfabrik Lounge Chair - SOLD

One of the most well-known examples of Danish modern 1960s lounge chairs: this chair is almost always attributed to the Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen, however we have found vintage news articles indicating the designer is Lawrence Peabody. Solid walnut-stained Danish beech frame is sturdy and comfortable, with new webbing. Brand new high density foam cushions with high-quality Knoll Classic Boucle in Neutral. Outstanding Danish Wool & Teak Settee - SOLD

Absolutely beautiful Danish loveseat re-upholstered in gray and charcoal wool hopsack. Upholstered pieces of this style are rarely seen outside of Scandinavia and we're very pleased to offer this fine example in such wonderful, refinished condition. This piece is unmarked, but possibly made by Fritz Hansen or designed by Nanna Ditzel. Very well made, beautiful details, excellent condition.

This piece, 'Eva', is Stouby's version of Børge Mogensen's No. 2213, which he designed originally for use in his own home. This a very handsome sofa, and SO comfortable!

Danish sofas are lower and smaller scale than typical American sofas... really nicely proportioned.  Beech frame with high quality leather. Original cognac leather is very good vintage condition with some scuffs and wear as shown. There are some light stains on the back. We also have a matching 3-seat version available.

Original removable dark brown leather seat cover is soft and has the wonderful patina of broken-in leather. Extraordinary Arne Hovmand Olsen Lounge Chair - SOLD

This is a rare beauty. Designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen in 1954 and crafted by the fine woodworkers at Mogens Kold, Denmark. Solid Afrormosia wood frame with wonderfully tactile carved, flared arms and gorgeous wood grain. It is also VERY comfortable!

This chair has been re-webbed and re-upholstered with all new foam and wonderful Knoll Rivington fabric in Sapphire. Rivington is a premium, sophisticated all-over multicolor texture using space-dyed yarns, inspired by the work of visionary textile designer Bernat Klein. Designed by Dorothy Cosonas for upholstery use.

This chair is in excellent vintage condition with only a few minor scratches and dings.

Fabulous Mid-Century Lounge Chair - SOLD

These cushions are just SO wonderful. They came are from a very high-end Danish chair, and their original upholstery and inner-spring cushions are in amazing condition. The upholstery fabric is gorgeous... woven with multiple colors and textures. This may be by one of the famous mid-century textile designers like Alexander Girard, Sylvia Chalmers, Robert Stewart, or Lucienne Day. It is really extraordinary!

The solid beech frame is in very good vintage condition, with new Pirelli webbing and some age-appropriate wear as shown.

Mid-Century Lounge Chair in Lambswool Felt - SOLD

A classic mid-century design: open arm, solid wood frame with loose cushions. Stained beech frame. Brand new foam and wool felt upholstery in a gorgeous charcoal gray by Camira. It is made from premium New Zealand lambswool, where responsible farming provides the highest quality raw material which is soft, clean and bright, which is ideal for spinning, weaving and dyeing.

Frame has been re-webbed with new Pirelli webbing and is in good vintage condition with some wear as shown.

A wonderfully iconic sculpted teak-framed, slat-back sofa, updated in wool herringbone with new foam. This piece looks wonderful from any angle; the back showing teak slats and great bones. Designed by Hans Olsen for Juul Kristensen.

In excellent vintage condition. The solid teak frame has only very light wear, such as small scratches on the arms and typical dings to the legs. The upholstery was recently redone in an attractive gray and light raspberry wool herringbone with new foam and a matching deck cover over the springs below.

Hans Olsen Lounge Teak & Oak Lounge Chair, 1950s - SOLD

Iconic Model # 107 Danish shell chair by Hans Olsen for Bramin Mobler. This chair is wonderful in person, with so much personality. It's also amazingly comfortable! 

The chair is made from molded teak plywood and solid European white oak. Newer upholstery in a lovely off-white tone-on-tone herringbone. Lounge chair height.

The oak frame has general age-appropriate wear, and puppy chews on front leg. The teak shell has a small chip on back edge, the outer side of the right arm has a blemish (original) as shown.

Edward Wormley for Dunbar Lounge Chair - SOLD

What a wonderful chair! Low-slung, beautifully proportioned, and very comfortable. We love the unusual, slanted mahogany base. This armchair is designed by the esteemed American designer Ed Wormley for Dunbar Furniture in the 1950s.

This chair is in overall very good vintage condition. The original cream colored velvety chenille upholstery (mohair??) is in good condition with light soiling and small rust spots on the buttons. We have not attempted to clean it. Please look at the photos. The foam is in great condition.
