Designed in 1951 by Ole Wanscher and produced by France & Son, the #166 lounge chair is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Marked with the two France and Son metal buttons, complete with designer's name and serial number.
This chair is in very good vintage condition. The lovely solid teak frame shows age-appropriate scuffs. The caramel-colored upholstery is in excellent shape with one pen mark on the bottom side, a tiny nick (see photo with pen for scale) and a couple of very small shinier areas of residue. Foam is very cushy and probably newer than the chair frame.
