Jack Cartwright Walnut Side Table or Nightstand - SOLD

Beautiful glowing warm-toned walnut! Designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders, one of our favorite American mid-century manufacturers. Beautiful Danish modern lines, rubbed oil finish, and gorgeous book-matched wood grains.  This piece boasts lots of storage and is finished on all sides, so can be used anywhere in the room. Look at that beautiful walnut grain! This is a high-quality piece with integral adjustable leveling feet.

In very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. There is shelf paper in the drawer. There is a bit of wear to the finish in the cubby area as shown. Inside the cabinet, a previous owner must have installed a shelf near the top: there are smalls crew holes. There is a slight separation along a knot in the solid walnut edging of the door. The previous owner installed a “hidden compartment” shelf underneath the base.

Fine Paul McCobb for Calvin Walnut Chest - SOLD

An exceptional low chest with four drawers designed in 1954 by American master Paul McCobb. Made by Calvin Furniture in Grand Rapids, MI. This beauty is wonderfully detailed and finished on the back. The legs feature adjustable levelers for a flat, solid fit on any floor.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The top has two very light rings and a minor scratch. The drawers have two repaired areas that may be original to the factory. Drawer interiors have light staining. Otherwise just minor age appropriate wear. All drawer slide very well!

A hard-to-find pair of floating wall-hung teak shelves with drawers, by Melvin Mikkelsen circa 1950s Denmark. beautiful, sculptural lines and a great patina. Excellent vintage condition with only the most minor signs of age. These were sourced from a recent estate auction in Denmark.

These hang on the wall with keyhole slots: in drywall, install drywall anchors and large-headed screws, slip onto slots and tighten.

Each measures 14” x 10.5” x 6.75”

Pair Nightstands or End Tables with Butterfly Inlays - SOLD

What a great pair of side or bedside tables! These 1950s beauties are crafted in bleached walnut with wonderful contrasting bowtie inlays and carved pulls and bases.

The set is in very good vintage condition. We photographed them both under flourescent and incandescent lighting since the color varies depending on how they are lit. There is some minor wear to the corners and edges. One has mild finish wear to the top right edge. One drawer has a scratch on the front and one has light finish wear around the handles. One has lots of tiny light nicks on one side which blend with the wood grain and are not very noticeable. Please see photos.

Danish Teak 4-Drawer Dresser - SOLD

A really lovely 4-drawer chest in teak with afrormosia legs. Full-length carved handles and a handsome beveled-edge case detail. These details are similar to Svend Madsen's designs for Falster, but this piece is unmarked.

This piece is in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. The top has some very light scratches, a chip on the back right corner, small dings back left corner, slight separation on case corner. Right side has chips along bottom edge and back corner; left side has some small chips back edge. Top drawer has small chip and repaired handle. Please see photos. Drawers are slightly tight to open/close.

Petite Dutch Side Tables or Nightstands - SOLD

Two petite mid-century Dutch side tables in a similar style. These don't match exactly, but could certainly be used as a pair. 

One has a single drop-down door with mahogany interior. Interior has some gouges on right side. Top has light scratches and light staining as shown. 18.875"wide x 11.375" deep x 20.5" high

The other has one drawer and a drop-down cabinet. There is a light circular mark on the top, most likely from something placed there blocking sun exposure, which should even out over time. Some veneer chips as shown. 18.75" wide x 11.375" deep x 20.375" high

Kai Kristiansen Tall Teak Dresser - SOLD

An authentic and iconic design by the Danish designer Kai Kristiansen, featuring his signature "smile" carved inset pulls and teak-and-oak base design.

This piece is from the 1950s and does show signs of age and use with numerous small veneer chips on the drawers as shown. There is a small stain on the top and a stain in the top drawer interior. Several drawers retain vintage shelf paper. The middle drawer binds slightly. Price reflects these issues.

So much fabulous storage! Lovely, rich teak, made in Norway by Westnofa. Sleek Scandinavian design. I love the beveled edge detail where the case meets the drawers and the curved, carved drawer pulls.

Five deep drawers on the left. Behind the locking door on the right are three more drawers and two adjustable shelves. We also have a matching low dresser and bed.

This piece is in very good vintage condition. There are a few minor dings and scratches, and the following to note: base has chips to bottom left corner and right side. Top left corder of door has slight damage. Price reflects these issues.

Kipp Stewart for Drexel 'Declaration' Walnut Nightstand or Side Table - SOLD

Designed by Kipp Stewart & Stewart MacDougall for Drexel's 'Declaration' collection and made in 1964. This piece features stunning, lively walnut grain and a warm, soulful patina. The 'Declaration' series is extremely well-made, and we've never seen any pieces in such perfect condition. We're pleased to offer three pieces from the collection, including a matching mirror, dresser and bed.

One dovetailed drawer and one adjustable shelf off plenty of storage. This piece is in excellent, with barely any signs of age. There are a couple of tiny, flea-bite chips on the edge and very minor dings.

Petite Danish Teak Chest - SOLD

A very sweet little Danish teak and afrormosia 4-drawer chest with beautiful matched grain on the drawer fronts. This piece appears to have had a run-in with termites at some point, and shows small holes on the bottom tow drawers, back, and back leg as shown. The top has three small dings and a small scratch. There are light chips on the bottom edges of the sides, the bottom drawer binds, and the back has some damage as shown. Price reflects issues.  Still a sweet piece!
