This is a great-looking, substantial, and very well-built tall chest of drawers made 1950s or early 60s. Founders Furniture was started in 1946 as a subsidiary of esteemed Knoll International for their residential line, according to my research. They don't build them like this any more!
The carefully chosen American walnut veneers complement the refined beveled case and Danish-inspired carved drawer pulls. Strong, American red oak dovetailed drawers offer tone of storage.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with mild age-appropriate signs of use, including: small light stains on the top, old veneer chips of a couple of drawer corners, tiny pieces of trim loss between the case and drawers, small veneer chips on the bottom corners and a slight seam separation on the bottom left corner. All in all, excellent.
