Wow, wow, wow! This is a stunning dining table. Model 140 designed by Børge Mogensen, produced Karl Andersson & Söner Øresund, Sweden, 1950s. The joinery and details on this table are just wonderful. The rich dark teak contrasts beautifully with the solid brass leg details and leaf hinges; this piece is really stunning in person! When not in use, the two leaves store within the table. Unlike many expandable round tables that leave gaps in the apron when expanded, this piece features sliding supports for the leaves, allowing the base and apron to stay in one piece.
This piece is in excellent restored vintage condition. There are a few light rings on the leaves. The runners are a little tight, so you will need two people to extend it and insert the leaves.
