Wow, this is one drop-dead gorgeous dining table! Crafted in glowing Brazilian rosewood by Dyrlund in Denmark, this table expands to seat a large party. This piece has fantastic details like the thick, rounded solid rosewood edging with exposed joinery and very sculptural connected trestle base. The glowing, carefully chosen, book-matched rosewood veneers on the top are breathtaking. It has a well-designed, secure latching system for the leaves and adjustable feet for precision leveling on any floor. This is a very heavy, well-made piece.
This particular table usually sells for two to four thousand dollars. We have priced ours much lower due to a few flaws. The table is generally in excellent vintage condition with only very minimal signs of wear and very light scratches, but there are two gouges on the top surface, as shown in the photos, and two small dents. (Please see detail photo.) The table is otherwise almost perfect. This is a great chance to own a spectacular piece of vintage Danish design for an affordable price.
