Described as some of the most comfortable dining chairs ever made, these solid teak and "skai" (leatherette) chairs by Erik Buck for O.D. Møbler (Oddense Maskinsnedkeri) are becoming one of the most desirable designs for collectors of mid-century Danish furniture. Designed in 1949. They feature Buck's wonderful "floating" seat, lovely joinery and great attention to detail. and did we mention how comfortable they are???
This set is in very good vintage condition, with beautiful patina to the teak. There are some tiny latex paint flecks on the seats. One chair has a small repaired tear in the upholstery on the bottom edge of the seat. There is a repaired crack in one frame. Otherwise only minor, age-appropriate dings.
