Described as some of the most comfortable dining chairs ever made, these solid teak chairs by Erik Buck for O.D. Møbler (Oddense Maskinsnedkeri) are becoming one of the most desirable designs for collectors of mid-century Danish furniture. Designed in 1949. They feature Buck's wonderful "floating" seat, lovely joinery and great attention to detail. and did we mention how comfortable they are???
This set is in very good vintage condition with typical minor wear to the solid teak frames and leatherette (skai) seats. One chair has a repair in the center of the seat, and one chair has a tiny repair to the front of the seat and repairs on each side of the backrest (see photos.) There is a very minor slit on the back of one chair.
