Set/8 Dining Chairs by Svegards Markaryd, Sweden - SOLD

August 11, 2016

A beautiful set of 8 Danish Modern ladderback dining chairs by Svegards Markaryd of Sweden. Six side chairs and two arm chairs. This set has just been reupholstered in a luxurious, high-quality Kvadrat Outback wool boucle by Maharam.

Each chair is fully signed with a brand to the seat bottom. These chairs were produced in teak, rosewood/palisander, and teak with a rosewood stain. I believe these to be the latter. They look fantastic with the rosewood dining table we are currently listing. They are in excellent vintage condition with only the most minimal signs of age.

Set/8 Teak and Woven Cord Chairs by Arne Wahl Iversen - SOLD

Comfortable and elegant 1960s Danish seating.
