Beautiful and rarely seen mid-century modern teak sideboard made in "Western Germany" in the 1950s. Marked with Wilhelm Renz's metal badge. This piece has wonderful grain and patina and features beautifully detailed, tapered and carved edges on the case, unusual splayed legs, four dovetailed drawers with inset handles, and a locking cabinet with an adjustable shelf. The legs have adjustable feet for leveling on an uneven floor; this is a very well-made credenza!
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The top has very minor small scratches; the right side has a small flaw on the bottom edge and small chip on back corner as shown; the third drawer has a small blemish top left corner. A small hole in the cabinet back allows stereo wires or cords to pass through.
