Early Mid Century Modern vintage Danish teak sideboard by revered Danish designer, Ib Kofod-Larsen. Quality Scandinavian craftsmanship is evident in the joinery of the legs to the body of the unit. Notice the detail in how the legs are overlap the bottom span of the cabinet unit. The minimalist circle pulls allow just enough for the fingertips to maneuver the sliding doors — so as not to obstruct from the clean, minimalist aesthetic.
This piece has excellent proportions; long and low and definitely shallower than most similar pieces at just 16.5" deep. Three sliding doors. Shelves on either end, and felt-lined drawers behind the center door.
This gorgeous credenza is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use and the following of note (see detail photos): top has some light stains and rings, a small darker spot, light scratches and a small deeper scratch on back edge. Front bottom left has a gouge/chip. Light scratches on center pull. Please see the photos for these areas. The decorative veneer on the back of the credenza is peeling, but not noticeable if you will be using this piece against a wall!
67" x 16.5" x 29.75" high.
