Designed by one of the greatest masters of Mid-Century design, Finn Juhl, and crafted by France & Son in Denmark in the 1960s. Every tiny detail is so perfect and carefully considered. Unlike most Danish furniture, this table is made of solid teak -no veneers- and has great details like the flared lip, sculpted legs and beveled shelf set on brass pins. This pair came from the collection of a family who purchased them in Denmark in the 1950s and had them shipped over to the US, where they remained in storage for many years. They were extraordinarily well-cared for, along with the rest of the Arne Vodder, Møller and Finn Juhl furniture we obtained from the same collection.
There is a tiny dent on one end as shown; otherwise only extremely minor signs of age.
