Designed by John Keal in the 1950s for high-end California furniture maker Brown-Saltman. This is a beautiful, well-made piece. The warm walnut is oil-finished and just glows. There are two doors, with a lovely carved pull detail, that slide to reveal storage behind, so you don’t need any bedside tables!
This very clean piece is in excellent vintage condition. There is very minor light discoloration on the top and an area of discoloration inside the left cubby as shown.
82” w x 10” deep x 32 1/2” high. Designed to have a bed frame bolted to it. The headboard itself starts 17” from the floor.
The back of the base has been modified to fit over a 8” x 2 1/2” baseboard radiator.
