This is a great walnut, rosewood and pecan expanding bar. It is a rare piece from the Kent Coffey 'Perspecta' collection, one of the most distinctive lines of mid-century American furniture. It is a sweet, compact size in its original form, and the top unfolds to expose a black laminate serving surface. Below, two cabinet doors open to reveal tons of storage with a shallow-depth shelf that allows storage of tall liquor bottles as well as glassware. It's even finished on the back to allow it to be placed anywhere in the room!
This example is on casters to allow it to be wheeled wherever needed. The casters are easily removable, however. I've included a photo of an earlier piece without wheels for reference.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There are some veneer chips on the bottom of the left side, an area of finish loss a few light scratches on the top.
