Torbjørn Afdal Teak Expanding Bar Cabinet or cart- SOLD

October 17, 2021

Such a cool piece! This is the teak version of Torbjørn Afdal’s highly sought after ‘Times’ bar cart, produced by Mellemstrands Møbelfabrik / Bruksbo in Norway, 1960s. We just love the ingenious system of sliding and latching that expands the top for mixing and serving, and the fine brass details throughout.

Excellent vintage condition, appears not to have been used.

30 3/8” x 16 3/8” x 35 3/8”. With top expanded, serving area is 60 3/4” wide.
