How gorgeous is this chair?! The Lamino chair is a stunning example of Scandinavian design and engineering. Its name is derived from the laminated teak and oak frame that uses curves to spread the weight of the sitter and provide a wonderfully comfortable seat in a delicate frame. Aside from that, it is simply a gorgeously sculptural piece!
Completely restored with fabulous new Camira ‘Aquarius’ 100% wool upholstery sling. The wood frame has minor age-appropriate wear.

Wow! This is a wonderful set of six iconic Model 31 dining chairs designed by kai Kristiansen for Shou Andersen, Denmark, 1960s. The solid afromorsia wood frames are sculptural and lovely to look at from any angle. They are also incredibly comfortable! We’ve reupholstered this set in one of our favorite textiles, Camira's 'Main Line Flax' , a wool and linen flax blend in a luscious berry color that perfectly offsets the warmly patina’d wood.
From Camira: A symbol of purity, wild flax has been used in textiles for thousands of years thanks to its strong, long and smooth fibers found inside the stem of the plant. The fiber is spun into a 70-30 wool flax blend, then fiber dyed to create beautiful mixture yarns. It is a sustainable, healthy and environmentally-friendly textile, Certified to the EU Ecolabel, Certified to Indoor Advantage™ "Gold", rapidly renewable and compostable. This is the ‘Parsons Red’ colorway #MLF14.
Excellent restored condition.

Wow! This beautiful reclining highback lounge chair with ottoman was designed by renowned Danish design team of Ib Madsen and Acton Schubell in the late 1950s and retailed by Povl Dinesen (marked on ottoman). Sometimes referred to as the ‘Tove Chair’, this set has an incredible presence in the room and it is astonishingly comfortable. This is the rare reclining version, made by Madsen & Schubell’s own workshop in Denmark rather than the Dutch company who made the standard version. The flared back and sculptural arms are so beautiful!
These pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The solid afrormosia wood frame shows very little wear. There are minor scratches on the arms as shown. The reclining mechanism is easy and smooth to operate. The matching ottoman has a tilt function to match the chair when reclined. This chair was reupholstered at some point and the current foam and fabric are in very good condition, with one broken webbing support that does not affect functionality or comfort. Reupholstery may be available at additional cost, please inquire.
