Harpswell House Walnut & Slate Table Lamp - SOLD

There’s so much to love about this lamp. For one thing, it was made in Maine! In the 1960s, Harpswell House crafted a collection of absolutely wonderful modernist pieces in native slate and walnut. Although many people claim that Paul Evans was involved in the design, we do not believe this to be true. They are definitely influenced by Evans’s work, in any case.

This lamp is wonderfully organic and tactile, celebrating the natural beauty of both stone and wood. It is in excellent vintage condition with only very minor wear. We have paired it with a new linen-weave shade.

Original Angelo Lelii 'Triennale' Floor Lamp, Arredoluce, Italy - SOLD

We are thrilled to offer this rare original floor lamp with tripod base and adjustable arms. Arredoluce was founded by designer Angelo Lelii in the 1940s, and is known as one of the most innovative post-War lighting manufacturers. Lelii’s modernist aesthetic is iconic and recognizable; his designs gained international renown in the 1950s and ‘60s. Today, Arredoluce’s designs are highly sought after by design enthusiasts and lighting collectors.

Lelii’s most famous design for Arredoluce is the Model 12128 ‘Triennale’ three-armed floor lamp. It was designed in 1947 and originally produced in polished chrome. it was produced in several variations over the years. We believe this example is from 1952.

Chrome-plated brass, enameled aluminum, chrome-plated steel. Signed underneath the base. Black, white and grey shades. Overall this unrestored lamp is in excellent vintage condition. The glossy chrome is very clean. Grey shade has a dent aprox. .25” x .5” and light paint loss. Black shade has very minor paint loss and light scratch. White has very minor scratches. Floor switch is missing, but each arm has it’s own switch. If desired, we can replace the floor switch with new.

Iconic Laurel Mushroom Lamp - SOLD

Ooo la la! This is Laurel Lamps Company’s sought-after and iconic ‘mushroom’ or ‘tulip’ floor lamp, in a very unusual and elegant color combination. The base and top are spun aluminum, with a thin rosewood/walnut veneered iron stem between, improbably supporting the frosted glass globe. A 3-position switch allows different lighting levels. Stunning in person, especially when lit!

A beautiful large signed ceramic and teak table lamp by highly collectible Gordon & Jane Martz for Marshall Studios. Ceramic barrel bottle-form has great presence and is complemented by a perfectly proportioned solid teak neck. Fabulous Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs Floor Lamp - SOLD

Minimalist elegance at its best! This floor lamp was designed by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs in the 1960s or 70s. Metal cube-shaped shade with a wonderful sunshine yellow finish on a chrome stem and heavy weighted black steel base. It looks SO wonderful lit, as the diffuser allows some light to escape upwards as well as down. This lamp has LOTS of personality! There’s something almost anthropomorphic in the attitude of the shade in it’s various positions. The shade can pivot in various angles on its patented ball joint.

In excellent vintage condition. Yellow enamel has some very mild wear along the edges and around the switch. The chrome is in excellent condition.

Solid Brass Lamps by Erwin Lambeth, A Pair - SOLD

Brass is back, baby! This is a spectacular pair of early 1970s table lamps designed by Erwin Lambeth. These lamps are often attributed to designer Pierre Cardin, since the shape echoes his logo. They are cast in very heavy solid brass and are quite substantial. We've paired them with new gold-lined black cotton/linen blend lampshades are they are just wonderful.

In excellent vintage condition. There is some light lacquer loss as shown, but since they are solid brass, they could easily be stripped and re-lacquered if desired. We like them just as is!

Mid-Century 'Orbiter' Wall Lamp by Sonneman - SOLD

Very cool lamp! 'Orbiter' wall lamp by Robert Sonneman. USA, circa 1960. Chrome finish with black wood handle and wall mount. Fully adjustable up and down, sideways and diagonally.

There are a few paint scuffs on one side of the handle, on the edges of the wood mounting block, and on the interior of the shade. Chrome is in great shape, very shiny.

Rare extra-large version of minimalist aluminium tiered P376 'Kastholm' pendant lamp designed by Jørgen Kastholm & Preben Fabricius for Nordisk Solar, Denmark. C.1960.

This is the white version, which throws a very nice warm, glare-free light on the surface below. It is stunning to see it lit at night.

The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with very light overall wear. We have not disassembled the lamp for thorough cleaning.) The lamp has been rewired with a brand new rayon-covered white cord. Please specify length needed for your installation.
