This is the real deal…. designed by master Danish designer Arne Vodder for Sibast, this table has all of the subtle details that make it stand out from more common versions of the iconic Danish draw-leaf table, with flared sides and Vodder’s signature tapered leg. It is substantial and very lovely. One or both leaves can be withdrawn as needed.

SOLD - Spectacular, Large Teak Dining Table by Børge Mogensen - SOLD

October 17, 2021

This is a really special dining table! Model 153, designed in 1958 by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. A wonderful Danish dining table that celebrates the beauty of natural wood. This table is beautifully made, with dovetailed corner braces and self-storing leaves. Søborg is one of our favorite table manufacturers! This is a table to last for generations… and is large enough to seat a crowd. Closed, the table measures almost 6 feet long; with both leaves it is almost 10 feet! We almost didn’t have enough space in our studio to photograph it!

The table is in very good-to-excellent vintage condition with all over minor age-appropriate minor wear.

71” x 41 3/8” w x 29” h
With both leaves extended, the table is a whopping 119” long.

SOLD - Teak 'Roundette' Dining Set by Hans Olsen for Frem Rolje - SOLD

September 9, 2021

The iconic “Roundette” set is a marvel of Scandinavian ingenuity with its clever, space-saving design and elegant form. The four chairs snug neatly up to the table, nesting into the table apron and reducing the footprint of the furniture in your space. This award winning set was designed by Hans Olsen in 1962 and made by Frem Rolje in Denmark. The set came with either 3-legged or 4-legged chairs; this is the harder-to-find 4-legged version, with more stable and comfortable seating.

The round teak table has a butterfly leaf extension leaf that folds and stores neatly beneath the table top, unfolding easily to increase the table size for guests.

The solid teak chairs have new foam and gorgeous nubbly gray wool upholstery. They have general age-appropriate wear. The table has a few scratches and wear as shown.
