This is a simply beautiful Rio rosewood (palisander) queen-size bed frame designed by Harbo Sølvsten and sold by the high-end Danish design store Illums Bolighus. The rosewood is warm and beautifully figured, and frame is elegantly curved. A rare and exceptional piece of Danish design. Circa 1960s.
This bed is in excellent vintage condition. There is a repaired crack in the footboard as shown. The slats shown are included, or you may prefer to use a more structural set like this or this.
