Set of Holmegaard 'Princess' Champagne or Sorbet Glasses, 1957 - SOLD

A gorgeous set of crystal glasses designed in 1957 by Bent Severin and made by Holmegaard in Denmark. These are some of the most elegant mid century glasses you can find.

The have have a controlled teardrop bubble in the solid conical base, and a delicately flared glass. This is the champagne or tall sorbet size. A wonderful gift!

8 are in excellent condition.
2 have tiny rim chips as shown. The set is priced as a set of 8, but if you’d like the two others they are free.

Beautiful Large Solid Teak Dansk Carving Board - SOLD

This is one of the nicest, and least common, of the Dansk cutting boards. Perfectly appropriate as a cheese board, this one also functions well as a meat carving board since the raised cutting surface allows juices and drippings to collect in the outer rim.

This piece has a wonderful sculptural quality, crafted in staved and endgrain solid teak. It is in excellent vintage condition with only very light knife marks on the surface. Since the piece is solid teak, these could easily be sanded out if desired. Pair it with one of our Danish carving knives!

Fabulous Danish Art Pottery Vase / Pitcher by Abbednæs Potteri - $75

This is such a great modernist stoneware jug. I love the contrast between the unglazed earthenware bottom and the richly glazed top. It is earthy and mod and totally wonderful! Abbednæs Keramik was a small studio west of Copenhagen and pieces from their artists are very hard to find in the US.

Excellent vintage condition with one tiny glaze chip on the spout and some light scuffs to the unglazed portion.

An outstanding modernist studio art pottery stoneware jug by Jack O'Leary (1918-1982) of Tariki Studio, New Hampshire. This vessel has a wonderful, near figural form (like a modernist bird!) Hand-thrown and altered with an arching applied handle with thumb tab. Finished with a mottled tenmoku/wood ash glaze. Signed "Tariki" to the foot, undated.

A pair of 1960s rosewood/palisander turned candlesticks from Denmark. In excellent vintage condition with light signs of use: some small chips on the base of one and a few light horizontal scratches on the other near the base. Natural wood variation.
